Our 1885 Sutherland House offers guests a quaint getaway with contemporary conveniences. Charming amenities include three porches, outside slate patio, and Victorian Parlor, along with modern accommodations, such as whirlpools, ceiling fans, and free WiFi. Groups of various sizes are comfortably accommodated in one of our five choices of suites, a lodge, and rooms. King or Queen size beds don each room while our Killian’s Lodge offers a Vermont Casting gas stove and Jacuzzi for private and larger parties.
Formerly an Episcopal parish house, our 1885 Greek Revival Canaltown Bed & Breakfast is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. Since 1973, we have welcomed guests through massive, beveled glass front doors, past hand stenciled walls, up a spindled staircase, and to bedrooms that make guests feel both elegant and at home. Two air-conditioned bedrooms, furnished with antiques and period pieces, can be private or shared, depending upon your needs. Allow a large dining area with floor-to-ceiling-windows and fireplace to enhance guests’ candlelit country breakfasts. Open WiFi is available to all guests and we even offer picnic services!
