In 1891, David Orville Trimmer, a wealthy wine merchant who specialized in champagne, built Trimmer House for his wife and daughters. In 1997, no expense was spared as Trimmer restored to its fine Queen Anne architecture. Now, an elegant 1891 Queen Anne Victorian situated in historic downtown of Penn Yan, NY, hosts 4 all-inclusive rooms, a 2 room suite, and additional Guest House and Lake House Suite for more privacy or larger parties. Proprietor Gary M. Smith, Professor of Hospitality Management at Keuka College, will attend to every detail.
Located in the center of Geneva’s Main Street Historic District, 1802 Chapman House sits centrally to Seneca Lake, wineries, and restaurants. Across the street from Seneca Lake and residing directly on the Seneca Lake Wine Trail, 1802 Chapman House offers direct access to scenic views and invites you to sample world-class wineries. Five minutes from near everywhere: 1802 Chapman House offers a 5 minute stroll that transports you to our downtown restaurant district and a 5 minute drive to Geneva On The Lake and Belhurst Resorts. Bordering Hobart and William Smith Colleges, 1802 Chapman House is uniquely situated to provide the best experiences for visitors to The Finger Lakes.
