You’ll start your day at Los Gatos celebrating breakfast as the first event of the day! Our Guests sit down to a Country style breakfast in either our dining room, enclosed sun room or our spacious deck. Our homemade jams and jellies so tantalizing they are also sold in wineries, restaurants, and onlineare a great compliment to each meal. Homemade and local syrups really shine when paired with Rebecca’s fresh, made-from-scratch baked goods. In addition, we at Los Gatos are happy to accommodate all your dietary needs, just let us know at the time you book your reservation!

Guestrooms at Los Gatos also share in the handmade luxury. Quilts, hand-sewn by local Mennonite women, comfortably cover the queen size beds in each of our 5 rooms. Every room includes private bath, flat screen TV with DVD players, electric fireplaces as well as the normal amenities. Central AC and comfortable sitting areas as well. The Grand Suite has a separate sitting room and private balcony over looking our main deck and the beautiful Benton Valley.

We have 2 private cabins just outside our front door, at the woods edge with private porches, comfortable sitting areas, private baths, AC, and a quaint dining area just for those afternoon snacks or evening takeout from one of the many wonderful restaurants in the area. Charles and Rebecca are most happy to recommend one of the many fine restaurants should you need a suggestion.

The Cornell Lab of Orinthology/Sapsucker Woods

The Cornell Lab of Ornithology at Sapsucker Woods is an oasis of nature, education, and peaceful recreation for all ages. Just 5 miles northeast of Ithaca, our state-of-the-art Visitor Center and 3 miles of level hiking trails are FREE to explore. Things to see and do include: inspiring art installations, including Maya Lin’s “Sound Ring” and Jane Kim’s gigantic mural “From So Simple Beginning”; a movie theater playing short films about birds; an interactive sound studio; and a 3/4-mile loop trail around Sapsucker Woods Pond, which brims with birds and other wildlife at all times of year. Binoculars and field guides are available to borrow. The Visitor Center is open from10:00am – 4:00pm, 7 days a week. The trails are open from dawn until dusk.

The Finger Lakes Trail system, over 950 miles in length, runs from the Pennsylvania-New York border in Allegany State Park to the Long Path in the Catskill Forest Preserve. Branch Trails include routes to Niagara Falls, The Genesee River Valley, The Great Eastern Trail south of Corning, The Central Finger Lakes, and The Syracuse Region. Built and maintained almost entirely by volunteers, this system covers some of the most scenic land in New York State. We encourage you to hike The Finger Lakes Trail and we welcome you to volunteer to keep it beautiful. Colonial Belle

Because you deserve it. Full family fun for over 20 years, let The Colonial Belle Erie Canal Tours in Fairport, NY, transport you. While traveling west between Fairport and Pittsford, just 20 miles outside of Rochester, cruise past traditional landmarks along the scenic Erie Canal. Be it full family fun on our Sunday afternoon Erie Canal Chicken Dinner Cruise, a relaxing lunch cruise, or any one of our many themed cruises: the rich history of Rochester awaits. As the largest boat that operates on the Erie Canal, The Colonial Belle has the capacity for 149 passengers with a fully enclosed lower deck that provides dining and a full service bar.
