Sodus Point – a most popular recreational hub of the area. Located on the shore of Lake Ontario, it is one of two villages in the Town of Sodus. When in the village, if you are not looking out at a Lake Ontario sunset, you are watching the sun gleam on beautiful Sodus Bay.

It is dotted with marinas, cottages, restaurants, antique shops, bed & breakfast inns, tackle shops, golf, fishing charters and gift shops.

The Old Sodus Point Lighthouse and Maritime Museum is busy all season, with Sunday concerts, picnics, tours and other fun events. The Sodus Bay Historical Society is an active group that works all year long to preserve the heritage of this locale. Their July Fourth celebrations are so well-attended, that officials close entrances to the village in early evening.

A blend of War of 1812 history, combined with breathtaking scenery and modern conveniences – all in the Village of Sodus Point. Enjoy the beach, take a walk on the pier, or just sit and feed the ducks.
